We bought this bed to replace an outdated bed in one of our cat towers. The photo and the size is exactly what we need. And since one of the cats spends most of their time atop this tower, occasionally throwing their last meal at her for health reasons, it has to be something that can stand up to the occasional washing. BUT. We do not have that. The colors may be right, but nothing else. Judging by the photos, it's made of carnival-grade faux fur. The photos show a velvety short pile fabric (light blue) for the upper and faux sheepskin for the back. Cheap funny fur is what this product actually has. The beautiful paw prints in the photos do not correspond to the product received. Can be washed? Maybe once. But flimsy, cheap fibers do NOT last long. Cat hair cannot be removed. We bring her back.
