Review on 🔍 Cosmo COS-QS75 30 in. Stainless Steel Under Cabinet Range Hood: 500 CFM, Permanent Filters, LED Lights, Convertible from Ducted to Ductless by Donald Vargas

We took a chance on buying this hood after reading the reviews here and at Home Depot. We really like the high CFM and larger duct size (8 inches) because we are preparing to buy a gas stove and want to move the air. After turning it on for the first time, we accidentally noticed one of the halves of the plastic damper on the roof! Looks like the plastic pivot pin came loose or broken during installation (see photo). We contacted Cosmo and they sent a replacement. We also like the rounded corners to keep head scratches to a minimum. We set it 37 inches above our range for the same reason. We replaced the bluish LEDs with brighter white LEDs and are happy. As other reviewers have noted, the instruction manual is not very clear so we had to rely on the comments. from other reviewers and a neighbor who had some experience.
