I wasn't aware of the Alpina brand but after a little research it turned out to have good origins. I ordered this watch for my wife (she asked for a new sports watch). All in all, this seems to be a very good watch. They were packaged in a nice box similar to the one you would get with any high end watch. My wife's first comment was that the watch is a little heavy for a sports watch, but I think that speaks to the quality. The watch is beautiful, of high quality, shows the time perfectly.
