Bought this camera for my wife to take some photos and videos while snorkeling. Survived a trip to Florida with great results, beautiful photos and videos. This was followed by a recent trip to Curacao. Not very good results! After taking some good photos and videos on her first day there, she locked herself in and did nothing. It's possible that water got into the system, even though she completed all procedures up to T. In short, she definitely lost the rest of her vacation time as that was the only camera she took with her. The good news was that we were able to remove the photos and videos she took from the card, so all was not lost! Sent the camera back to Panasonic as it was still under warranty without expecting too much. And after 2 weeks they sent her a brand new camera to replace the damaged/faulty one! Come on Panasonic! He probably won't use it underwater again, but it's good to know that Panasonic definitely has a customer support team!
