Let me start by saying that I am not a professional DSLR photographer. I bought the TS25 because I knew it was an inexpensive compact camera, but I wanted something I could easily carry in a life jacket while kayaking. I bought this camera 10 months ago and found it reasonable (in terms of photo quality) for that time. Not great, it's a cheap camera, but for informal "people shots" while kayaking it does a great job. Probably worth 3 1/2 to 4 stars.
