We used to always use iPlay sun hats but after a while we found them too soft. We kept having to rip off the front of his face and/or put it in the hat, which defeated our purpose. I love that this one has a hard visor on the front so it stays in place and easily protects your face from the sun. Honestly, all of this hides his face and neck, so that's exactly what we need. We went up a size and it seems more comfortable for him - there's an elastic piece at the back that stretches to accommodate different head sizes, but the smaller size (which it technically fits) felt a little tight and he complained about it. too tight.
