You will only see a small rectangular bar at the top and bottom on a DVD with a 16:9 aspect ratio. A response time of 8 milliseconds ensures smooth video playback. The active TFT display allows you to view it from any angle in your living room. I even look at it from a 70 degree angle and it looks good enough. Black finish adds elegance to your space. A power transformer (to convert 120 or 250 volts to 12 volts) is built into the monitor. So you don't see any ugly cables from the outside. The monitor cable for connection to the computer is also neatly hidden in the monitor housing. To fully enjoy the monitor, you need a good graphics card that supports very high resolutions and has a DVI output.
