Charge controller voltage settings are TOO high. 2/10 volts can be critical to expected battery life. But 4/10 volts is ABSURD!. When using this charge controller in 24V Li-Ion mode, the resolution is 4/10 volts. I make it work because I needed a charge controller ASAP when I ordered it. However, I had no idea such ridiculous loading options existed. The only reason this works for me is because I want to undercharge my batteries. Along with the above issues, the charge controller voltage is OFF at 2/10 volts. As a result, I need to set the charge parameter to 2/10 volts above normal. Once you accept all of this, you can make it work satisfactorily. Note: I'm replacing this unit with a $100+/- PowrMr and keeping the Renogy as a backup.
