Elbows should rotate freely
Elbows didn't rotate when they arrived. I applied WD 40 to the rotating areas and worked back and forth until the rotation was free. Secure the elbow as close as possible to the dryer with the supplied clamp and the elbow as close to the wall as possible with the supplied clamp. The distance from the dryer to the wall is 5 1/2 inches. The old vent hose was kinked when the dryer was first installed. Now the drying time has been shortened!
