Bought Mag-Hytec rear diff cover and transmission sump because I had to drive a lot of miles to work. Unfortunately, when I went to swap the diff cover for a new one, I was shocked by metal splinters on my magnet at the bottom of the diff. I ended up replacing the Chrysler locker with the couplers with a Detroit Trutrac without the couplers. It cost me about $1,500, but after owning the truck for over 10 years and having nothing but the usual maintenance issues, I didn't hesitate. The new cap makes checking the level convenient and easy, and the dipstick even has a built-in magnet. There is an o-ring in the casting, eliminating the need to use an RTV. Doesn't work and looks great. Also has a port for a temporary transmit module. I put one on the transmission pan; There was already one on the line going to the radiator. (towing package) Highly recommend this product; worth every penny if you love servicing your cars like me!
