Overall I enjoyed using these embossers. I used homemade marshmallow fondant and applied embossed lipstick for the gingerbread walls. You need to make sure the fondant is even, I suggest a paste roller or something. You'll also need to press the tools into the fondant fairly firmly to ensure the pattern is visible. For the larger piece of lipstick, I picked up the pattern as best I could and then continued pressing the tool over the entire surface. Overall I would recommend!
