4 hard drives out of 50 failed
I want to believe in these hard drives. Looks great, build quality is great. To date I have bought about 50 of these from Revain and B&H. Mostly 8TB drives, some 6TB. Unfortunately, I see a high bounce rate. 3 have been returned to the manufacturer and I just found out that the 4th drive failed in the field today. And out of 4 hard drives that failed, 2 caused a kernel panic. Myself and another colleague have observed this behavior on several different Macs.
