I've used Master Locks since I was a child. They are durable, last a long time and the combination never fails when trying to pick the lock. My significant other recently needed a work lock to lock his car at work and I knew Master Lock would be the perfect choice. If you are new to combination locks, Master Lock is perfect for you. This is one of the easiest brands of combination locks on the market. Opening the lock is easy: turn the dial 4 times to the right, rotate the dial until you reach the first digit, then stop, turn the dial counterclockwise one full turn, then stop at the second digit on the second turn. and then turn the dial to the right and stop at the third digit. Both locks I received had the same combination. The combination is so easy to remember that by the second day the lock was picked my significant other had already memorized the combination. You cannot change the combination, but if you lose it you can request the combination from the manufacturer's website. Unlike other brands of combination locks, Master Lock uses parts made in the USA, but these locks are actually assembled in Mexico, keep this in mind if you are looking for a product that is made in the USA. The lock is just under 2 inches wide and the shackle is 19 millimeters thick and 3/4 inch long. This lock can be severed with a suitable tool. If you are traveling, be aware that these locks are not TSA approved. You can buy TSA approved Master Locks, just look for Master Locks with the Travel Sentry logo. All Travel Sentry Master Locks are TSA approved. Master Locks are designed for indoor use. They are perfect for gym lockers, study cabinets, chests, leg cabinets and any other item that you need a quick lock for. I do not recommend using these locks outdoors as not only will they rust but the temperature changes make the lock difficult to pick. Finally, Master Locks are an affordable solution that will stop most people from stealing your belongings. They cannot be picked, but like most combination locks, they serve as a small deterrent to protect you from theft.
