The only problem is they do NOT have THAT combination! One of the locks worked with the combination (luckily because I needed it) but the other lock definitely didn't have the same combination as intended. They have a small sticker with the (same) combination on the back of each lock. and one was wrong. Otherwise the locks are ok, but there you are completely unusable. These are dependable basic locks at an affordable price. The action of the dial is acceptably smooth. After locking, the latch is well fixed with minimal lateral play. The shackle has some vertical play, but this does not affect the reliability of the fasteners. Easy to use and easy to open. I'm a medical student and I have two separate lockers on campus for different purposes and it's really nice to have the same combination for my two school lockers. I prefer these plain ones over the colored ones because they run much smoother. I'm not sure why.
