Review on RCA 9-Inch Portable DVD Player with Extra 9-inch Screen (DRC79982) by Lucas Salgado

disposable waste. - TV and Video

I can't believe electronics manufacturers are unable to make a decent portable DVD player in 2017. This is madness. We wanted our kids to be able to watch movies on the go. We have tablets, but due to the file size of many digital copies of movies, we can only host a few movies at a time (if streaming at all). In order to have access to our entire children's film library, we needed a DVD player. When we bought our minivan 3.5 years ago we decided not to pay the extra $750 or whatever for the built in DVD player and now we regret it. It would be worth every penny. In any case. We read all the reviews and chose the player that we thought would ruin the bed the least. And we walked in expecting little for our money. Thank goodness because this thing sadly lived up to the low expectations. We bought in August 2016 before traveling with children. It worked pretty well for our 18 hour round trip, only shutting down/restarting a couple of times. But it was a sign for the future. (Следует отметить, что мы используем это только изредка в длительных автомобильных поездках.) Теперь, после нескольких дорожных поездок в этом году, фильмы едва остаются включенными в течение 5 минут, прежде чем они возвращаются к главному меню плеера, и мои дети говорят: " This isn't "working" and I have to restart the whole thing. SO ANNOYING. Basically, only buy one if you're willing to experience frequent road frustrations and are willing to accept that it's completely disposable. Ours goes to landfill.
