We love this dispenser. The first time we did it splashed all over the place even though we turned it upside down as instructed. It took me a little while to understand why this happened. We've made whipped cream about 4 times and this only happened on the first mix. We only used 8 ounces of cream the first time, but went to 12 ounces after that. We also shook it A LOT before using it with the first mix. It works great with any bait after the first mix. So I recommend using 12 ounces, not just 8 ounces. We like the flavor and texture best when we use both whipped cream and whipped cream together, not just whipped cream. It's a bit heavier and creamier if you use both. If you like a lighter texture and flavor, just use whipped cream. We're happy with the dispenser and it's handy to keep on the fridge door to add to coffee, morning pancakes, etc.
