Review on ๐Ÿฆˆ Smoke Shark Robotic Vacuum with Quarts by Mark Adlesh

Mind My Husky Coat!

I wanted to give an honest review of the Shark Ion robot and answer some questions I had while researching. I've been researching robot vacuums for months and nearly bought a Roomba irobot 650, but after purchasing a Shark Duo vacuum this summer (which I love!) I decided to give the shark a shot. Because when you have a husky, any sucking aid is better than none! I can follow the shark with the app, schedule cleaning, notifications and uptime log.3. The price was much cheaper. Here's my feedback: It's true that it took more attempts to connect to the app than it should. But after 3 attempts it connected and I haven't had any issues since, even after we recently swapped out our WiFi router. It's been about a month since we bought Bruce (we named him Shark Bruce). I am very happy with this little robot! Our ground floor home is approximately 2,000 square feet. I have a carpeted bedroom and an 8x10 rug and the rest is wood and tile. I let it run once a day (weekdays) while we are at work. It was a HUGE help. My husky literally sheds year round and unless I vacuum him a few times a week there is hair all over the place. Now when the little one was crawling on the floor it was very uncomfortable, but now he is not covered with hair anymore. Thing does a great job, even with carpet. It has regular vacuum brush bristles rather than the Roomba's rubber bristles, which made me very happy. I've read reports of the rubber type leaving hairballs on carpet, but it actually works very well on carpet. it doesn't stay behind. It has a random pattern but seems to hit most spots. I don't see any tumbleweeds in corners or under furniture. The first day we started it I forgot to put some duct tape around our dogs water bowl and when we got home Bruce was stopped at the water bowl. I think he sucked out some water and I almost cried thinking I ruined him. But I let it dry for a day and it's been fine ever since. He only got stuck once from which he couldn't get out. It ran down my rock and play sons legs and didn't come over the leg. It was my fault for leaving it near the pier. So far it hasn't had any issues starting up and returning to the dock when the battery is low or the tray is full. The average working time in my house is between one hour and 15 minutes and 1.5 hours. It matches almost all of our furniture and moves very smoothly over objects. Most of the time it slows down when it senses something instead of crashing into things, which is nice since we have a white baseboard. In general I am very happy with them! For the price you can't beat it. I hope it lasts long!
