I was not impressed by the locking mechanism: almost all parts are plastic. The only part that is made of metal seems to be the cylinder. In addition, the suitcase is very comfortable and relatively low for such a large capacity. I ended up returning it and bought a 58L Trekker Outback GIVI OBK58A instead. A little more expensive, but much more reliable. The first two photos attached show this cover on a V-Strom 1000, the third shows a 58L Trekker Outback on the same bike.
