I was a little nervous about the reviews about them falling apart, that wasn't my experience at all. In fact, I think this is one of the best things I've bought in a long time. I let them soak for about 24 hours and they turned out huge. The reviews that say they're bumpy show them before they're completely soaked, because that's what mine looked like mid-soaking. If they stay in the water long enough, they'll get nice and round. I put them in a big plastic container with bowls and spoons and the kids loved them. I think I had broken maybe 1 bead from the whole pack. After playing for a while I gave the 2 year old a toy plastic knife and had her cut it in half. Not only did she play with it for an hour, she wanted to play with it again the next day and spent another hour cutting and poking holes in it with her finger.
