Review on πŸ‘š Oblique Zipper Slim Fit Hoodie Jacket for Women by DJT by Robert Wood

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy to slip on, full bust, do not tumble dry

I currently measure 37-28-37 (34C/32D) and ordered a size larger. At this size there is still room for a sweater underneath. The cuffs come down to the ankles, which I prefer in cold weather. This is a jacket style hoodie, not a real jacket, so a layer of fabric, no lining. The advantage of this is that it can be easily adjusted if necessary. The downside is that it's not a jacket. If you need something warmer than a regular hoodie, size up to allow for multiple layers, or skip it and find a jacket. I have to redo almost everything because all the tops that fit my bust size look like potato sacks. The picture worried me that the pockets would have to be moved to do this, but the pockets are a few inches from the side seam so it only took 2 passes to overcast the sides. I also have darts in the back. The bottom edge is thick so I didn't have to take it apart before sewing. Victory! If, like me, you wash your outerwear during flu season, you can't tumble dry it. (I'm guessing too much heat stretches the fabric and seals it up?) I think that's a good excuse to get two if you try one and like it. Not sure why there is a fake bag. I think it adds more balance to the contrasting colors when the zipper is all the way up, but a zipper that goes nowhere looks kind of weird. You can of course add the bag manually if you want to take your time.

Pros
  • hood with internal drawstring
Cons
  • boring packaging
