Very sharp knife, be careful! I got used to my old dull bread knife and ended up cutting my finger really badly. However, this knife can not only be used for bread. Ideal for cutting meat and vegetables! Initially bought specifically for bread. I started baking my everyday wheat bread instead of spending lots of money at the store for one. My old bread knife didn't "cut" it when it came to slicing my loaves. He ripped the bread instead of slicing it, meaning I was only able to cut thick slices. On the other hand, this knife allows me to neatly cut into thin slices about the size of store-bought bread. Great sharp knife at a great price!
