THIS IS THE BEST FILTER. I forgot to check the previous HEPA filter earlier and found it covered in a thick layer of dirt. This filter sucked up all the toxins and dust in my apartment air, including those pesky black bugs (mosquitoes/drosophila). It's really worth the money. My air purifier is in the hallway between the living room and the bedroom (small apartment). Cleans everything around it, including the litter box. It freshens the air. I don't notice any noise issues, but I use a sound machine to diffuse my community's outside noise so I can sleep. SIMPLE HINT: AFTER REPLACING THE FILTER BE SURE TO PRESS THE RED FILTER CHANGE LIGHT WITHIN 3 SECONDS TO RESET THE FILTER WARNING. I've noticed several complaints in reviews of the unbranded version of this filter that the red light is still on. I temporarily replaced my previous HEPA filter with the regular filter that came with the Levoit air purifier and noticed that the red light is still on. I knew the filter was fine, so I reread the quick setup instructions and realized I forgot to reset it. Easy to fix. THE INVESTMENT IS DEFINITELY WORTH IT. Your lung health is worth having extra filter layers. 😊👍. I highly recommend it.
