I installed it myself and it was an easy install. Cut to size, place clear silicone tub & shower door sealant in gap and press until smooth. After installation, it should lightly touch the sill of your shower door to prevent water from running out of the shower during use. Our sill has a slight inward slope to prevent water from collecting on the sill, providing even more tightness. Unfortunately, this particular Shower Door Direct seal began to crack after 19 months of use, while the original seal lasted over five years. Pros: Easy to trim. Ease of installation. The price was reasonable at the time of purchase. Cons: Started to split after about 19 months of use.
