Review on ๐Ÿงค Columbia Fleece Glove with Compass, Size X-Large by Roger Sanders

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not impressed - poor fit, not warm

For a Columbia product, these gloves were very oddly sized and cut. The palm was too wide for the length of the fingers. The thumb is cut at an odd angle to the hand and is almost as long as the index finger, or almost twice as long as needed! The placement of the grip material on the thumb was useless due to the odd angle Columbia thought our thumbs were working at. I really liked the footage. It was easy to hold a cup of coffee or drive a car. It would be nice if he lengthened his fingers. These gloves are not insulated at all. It's basically a thin fleece lined with Omni-Tech fabric. Columbia advertises Omni-Tech fabrics all over the place and this is my first experience with them. I have to say it was very disappointing. Possibly poor circulation means my hands aren't generating enough heat to make a difference. I would not use these gloves below 28F and never where wind resistance is important.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
