I had a specific need for my body and other than being ordered/made to measure this was literally the only case on the market (within a reasonable price range) that met my requirements. Background: The case I had before was the Silent Base 601, nice case, the workmanship was flawless and the optics were quite "adult". The case looked great but had TERRIBLE airflow even with Be Quiet Silent Wings 3 fans and 2 360mm radiators. However, my components were quite cold, the ambient temperature and my PCH/VRM were too hot. I have an x299 motherboard with a 7900x that I built in Autodesk Maya for rendering and animation. I also have two 1080 FTW Hydrocoppers to render and use in Substance Painter and V-Ray. I built another workstation with AIO and GPUs without liquid cooling. But sometimes when you render for days it's quite noisy and harsh on your components. So there is a history of my meeting. Build Quality: You can tell this is the end result. The metal feels a little flimsy and things don't quite fit as they should. An indescribable feeling when you touch this case and then touch something like Phanteks Evolv. Something with metal. The threads on some of the screws are not of the highest quality as you can see but everything is functional which was the main thing I needed. Pros: Separate slot for a second heatsink in my loop specifically for my GPUs. The top mounted heatsink is for the CPU and still has 3 140mm fans blowing from the front to cool the rest of the system and bring fresh air to all components. The case is relatively easy to assemble and also offers plenty of space for cable management on the back. All air intakes have dust filters. Cons: The build quality and the fact that there was a cracked panel when you received the case, and of course trying to contact Thermaltake customer service is like trying to win the lottery with no money (possibly not even playing).
