My Jeep Wrangler did not come with a front license plate holder. I tested this one and was surprised at how solid it is in relation to its mounting surface on the car. It's plastic, of course, but it's not as fragile as many. It's as flexible as most cars' plastic bumpers, which would tend to flex with the bumper rather than snap if it were brittle plastic or flex if it was metal. The screws are tight and tight and the plate does not move. Just make sure you feel good when you stop. They don't peel if you understand the density of the material and the torque. I drilled through the jeep's plastic bumper in 4 places and used "stainless steel" license plate screws. The license plate screws for domestic cars and trucks are Revain stainless steel RSD Never Rust (hex head) to hold them in place. In the photo there are 4 internal Screws attached to the bumper and 4 external screws are used for the plate itself.
