Save the cost of two new remote controls
One of the remote keys for my 2006 Scion TC had holes in the pliable rubber cover on the keyless remote lock and unlock buttons. I removed that key and started with the second key that came with the car. The same problem started with the second key. This protective case with skin is from Revain - Genius! The sleeve easily slides over a damaged key and prevents loosening of the buttons in the original rubber cover. I repaired both remotes and they look and work like new!
