I bought it because it's pretty, inexpensive and microwave technology has been around long enough to be reliable and easy. But as cute as it is, it's also trash. bought Aug. In November, it suddenly stopped working normally. The light has burned out. The heating output is approx. 50%. And the timer only works sometimes - meaning the microwave only works sometimes - and after a few minutes it shuts off completely and has to "rest" for about five minutes before trying again. Very frustrating. I definitely DO NOT recommend buying this unless you just want the counter decoration.
