First air conditioner of exact same model, btu etc. works quietly, efficiently and to my satisfaction. To my surprise, it vibrated so much that when I turned on a "New" the mirror on my wall started bouncing around the hangar, I thought it might just knock a nail out of the wall and fall off. Needless to say, the sound was like a boat engine. I have a suspicion that this air conditioner was damaged in transit and as I like the first one I will buy another one. The extra BTUs compared to other air conditioners on the market are worth the extra hassle of installing another air conditioner.
