I bought these because I liked the way the case opens. If you have readers, you have them everywhere. Thanks to the case, the glasses are not crushed and sit on it. The case is very easy to open with one hand and remove the glasses with the other hand. They're narrow enough that I can hold them lower on my nose to read or use the computer and still look out to see something far away. Excellent value for money and quality. I read some negative reviews. News: You can buy 2 pairs with a hard case for less than $20! You can't buy a new car here. Ha. I paid $30 for a pair of slim Foster Grants and was devastated when I left them at a restaurant or on a plane.
