These are typical drawer side slides where the last 2 inches of travel are spring activated. There are many slots for initial adjustment. They tend to be tight and need some use before they're really smooth and easy to move. I love the sliders I put in my closets for fairly deep drawers that can hold 20-30 pounds of stuff. Would buy again
