We ordered a different sleeping bag for our daughter and this for our son. They both have similar ratings for temperatures (this one actually is rated for a bit colder temperatures) but this one is half as thick as the other. When they had an indoor slumber party, sleeping on a hardwood floor, the thinness was very noticeable. Using a pad or thick blanket under was fine for the 10 year old. If we order more, it will be the other one. ;)
