I have worn the Targhee II for years and love everything about them except that the side tread tends to pull away after time. I'd bought another one at a box store and it wouldn't do the job. The threaded end that connects with the existing shower head was perfect on this one. Regular collars were matting the hair on my long haired dog’s neck and this collar has helped with that problem. I choose this undyed collar because of reviews I read that indicated some dyes would discolor the hair. She’s in the water daily and there has been no sign of discoloration or adverse effects to the collar.
