Good Budget Grips for my opinion

Summary: - These grips feel very similar to Golf Pride New Decade Grips - They cost less than half as much as Golf Pride New Decade Grips - Installation was the same as any other grip I've ever installed (not harder or easier) - Too early to determine long term qualityIf you're anything like me, you have a hard time paying 130$ or more for golf grips. This usually means that I'm relegated to a lower end grip. I decided to give these grips a shot when I needed to replace a few grips in my bag. I

Pros
  • Great quality for the price point
Cons
  • The grips may not be very responsive to changes in grip pressure, leading to inconsistent swings

Read all the reviews and watch the video

A) this is my first time changing grips.B) I read a lot of reviews, both for this product and others similar. After selecting these, I watched this installation videos on YouTube.C) 25 years golfingReviews for this product seem to be right on the money. Feel like good to great grips. Hook knife cuts old grips like butter. After removing old tape, I used a couple of sprays of the lubricant to clean the old residue off-worked great. New tape was easy to put on. I found that spraying 5-6 sprays…

Pros
  • Just had to secure a vice and I was done with one club in 5 mins. Watch the video.
Cons
  • The grips may not fit all golf clubs, limiting their potential use

Decent grips for the price

Grips feel nice. Easy enough to install. Played a couple rounds with them and I like them better than the factory grips my clubs had. The blade is a bit cheap so if you have a standard utility knife just buy the grip kit sans knife and buy a hook blade for the utility knife. The tape is plastic so when you peel off the paper it curls on itself at the end so you want to make sure to tuck it into the shaft so the grip goes on fully. Benefit of it being plastic like is that in feel it will have a…

Pros
  • Good color. Good feel. Could be a bit more tacky but im happy with them
Cons
  • The color options may be limited and not offer enough variety for some golfers

Easy for 1st Timers

I wanted to try regripping my own clubs so I didn't want to waste a bunch of money by buying higher priced grips. I was able to remove a grip using the included tool in less than 30 seconds. I did get a scraper to help remove the old tape. It's much easier to remove the tape if you use a blow dryer or heat gun first. I used goo gone to get off the excess old stickiness too. Then I applied the new tape, used the solvent and installed the new grip. I did not use a vice either and plenty of…

Pros
  • This grips cost about $50 less than the of Lampkin that I compared too!
Cons
  • These grips are super slick. Hard to hold onto. Not worth buying.

So easy I can do it.

Nice club regripping kit. Comes with everything you need. I watched a few YouTube videos beforehand and when this kit came to the house I did my 10 clubs that needed regripped. It took me about 1.5 hours to complete. This was the first time I tried regripping golf clubs and now that I did it once I will always do my own. EZPZ. Grips are nice for the price. Not quite as soft and grippy as I would have liked but good for the money. I always played golf pride grips before and they were a little…

Pros
  • Works
Cons
  • The grips may not provide enough shock absorption, leading to hand fatigue and discomfort

Two-Sided Tape issues

I love that the kit came with everything you need to not only install new grips, but take off the existing ones on your clubs. The only issue I had was with the two-sided tape being that the paper backing was very hard to take off of it as it wanted to come off with the layer. Other than that it was very easy after getting the tape on the club and pushing the grip onto the shaft, just make sure you are very liberal with the solvent inside of the grip and the shaft itself that is the key.

Pros
  • Hard to beat the price for a quality grip.
Cons
  • The grips may not offer enough hand support during swings, negatively impacting performance

Grips a bit on the fat side.

These grips were easy to install. Complete kit. When I stripped the old grips from my clubs the existing grip tape was still in decent shape so I used the blowgun method to install these new ones. Regripped the whole set in about 20 minutes. Although these grips are good quality and comfortable, they are fatter than standard grips I have used in the past. I have about 30 rounds on these now and they are still good as new.

Pros
  • Ink coming off when installing is an issue
Cons
  • The grips may not provide enough grip during wet or rainy conditions

Nice grips! on my review.

Great product, i wish they would include at least 2 or 3 extra grips. I messed up 2. Company was good enough to send me 2 more although shipping was very slow. Overall good experience.

Pros
  • ‎Rubber
Cons
  • The grips may not be very breathable, causing sweaty hands during hot weather

Great Deal good for me

13 grips and a kit for $65, I believe to be a great find. I'm not familiar with the brand, but they initially feel great even without a glove. And the packaging made the product feel of greater quality. I hope they last as long as my OEM ones did.

Pros
  • The option of standard/midsize grips accommodates different hand sizes and preferences for a personalized playing experience
Cons
  • The grips may not be very customizable to fit individual golfers' preferences

One word - easy in my review

I’ve bought multiple grips and this brand has fantastic grip. They were very comfortable and easy to install. I 110% reccomend them!

Pros
  • Golf
Cons
  • The grips may be difficult to find replacements for if they wear out or need to be replaced

Make sure you use enough solvent

The hardest part was taking off the old tape I ended up using a propane torch and burned it off. Just make sure you use enough solvent and don't stop, mine where directional so it pre marked the shaft of where I wanted it to be. I never done it before but was very happy with the outcome.

Pros
  • ‎Fluorescent Orange, 13 grips with full solvent kit
Cons
  • The grips may not be very user-friendly, requiring golfers to learn new grip techniques

Awesome grips good for me

I am new to golf I bought a used set of clubs and put these grips on them super easy to install very comfy and look good The grips may not provide the needed stability for consistent swings.

Pros
  • ‎Mid-Size
Cons
  • The grips may not provide the needed stability for consistent swings

Can’t beat it! in my review

I’m a picky purchaser and this meet my standards for the price point they are at.Pros: The grip kit came with everything needed to remove the old grips and install the new ones! The colors and material on the grips look and feel great. The chords in the grips work nicely as well!Cons: a few of the grips had a chord or two the was hanging out of the rubber. It is more of a slight cosmetic issue than performance issue.Overall: I believe for the price of these there is no better alternative.

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • The grips may cause hand fatigue during swings, limiting the number of shots golfers can take

You can do too! on my review.

I’m retired and just started golf. Had issues with the standard grips and a friend suggested I change them. Did a little research and bought these. Put them on myself using the tutorial video. Wonderful difference it made.

Pros
  • ‎China
Cons
  • The grips may not offer enough grip variations for different types of shots

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to put on, great feel

Put on all 13 in under two hours. Did not need any special tools nor a vise. Just a sharp blade to slit the old grips and a paint tray to catch drips as I oiled the grips and taped shaft.Came with good instructions; helpful if you are new to doing this.Grip tape is different from what I have used in the past: more a gauze (once protective paper removed) than a tape. When taped shaft is thoroughly oiled, grips slipped right on over it. Don’t know how easy gauze will be to remove once time comes…

Pros
  • ‎ESG2-CL03S-ORMD13@#A10
Cons
  • The grips may not be very portable, making them difficult to transport for travel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Why pay more? These are great.

Bough some Bombtech irons and needed a "fatter" grip. Looked at Golf Pride and Winn, then found these after poking around. The reviews were good, and the price HALF of GP and Winn. Got the installation kit, although I was a little concerned about getting them stuck half way. Watched some installation videos and saw the compressed air in the end trick. Blowing compressed air in the hole in the end made it SO easy. As for the grips, they are very comfortable and like the midsize for my arthritis.

Pros
  • 2 KITS OPTIONAL
Cons
  • The grips may not be very suitable for golfers with disabilities or injuries

Revainrating 5 out of 5

As good as the top name brand

For the money spent these do the job! I would recommend these grips to anyone who re-grips their own clubs. So far I can’t complain!

Pros
  • Golf Club Parts
Cons
  • The grips may not be very easy to replace, requiring professional installation services

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great so far: my feedback

Received the package earlier than expected and installed the grips with help from an experienced friend. They look and feel great, but weather hasn't allowed me to try them out on the course yet.

Pros
  • Feels really good gripping the clubs now
Cons
  • They may not fit all golfers' hands comfortably, causing discomfort and performance issues

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Product as described

So far so good. Just installed them and no issues there. They seem to be fairly good grips, but will be playing with them soon and know for sure.

Pros
  • Easy to use and love the style
Cons
  • The grips may not provide enough feedback during swings, leaving golfers unsure of the quality of their shots

Revainrating 3 out of 5

nice grips nice company but.

I had installed these grips on 13 of my clubs. They really looked very nice, went on easy and seemed to be well worth the purchase, however, after using some of my clubs for a few rounds of golf(talking about 9 hole course) I noticed that the grips became hard and slippery, worn out, especially on my driver. I was very disappointed with these grips. They didn't last long on my driver and a few other clubs that I use fairly frequently. It's a shame because these grips looked really cool and…

Pros
  • With upgrade/deluxe kit options, players can fully customize their grip set-up to suit their individual needs and preferences
Cons
  • The grips may not offer the needed compression for optimal shots
