I got this collar for my 13-year old Shih Tzu. Flat collars sometimes seem to irritate his skin but more importantly they tend to cause tats in his hair. The round leather pretty much eliminates that issue. It is also a softer leather so it seems it would be more comfortable. The dark blue is almost exactly the same shade as the photo; I’d hoped it might be a little darker but it’s not a bad/bright color. A very small dog with a pointy face can get this collar wedged in her mouth while wearing it. It’s a nice collar but I think because it’s rolled it stands out from the neck more which made it possible for my little one to grab it with her teeth. Then, of course, she was caught and unable to get it out of her mouth! I had fastened it as snugly as I thought was comfortable for her. Wow! I’m shocked how much I love this collar! We have a grey and black spotted Great Dane, we weren’t sure what collar to get her bc I didn’t want it to put a kink in her pretty hair. All my family and friends think I need a dog. I think otherwise! I instead bought an adorable wooden possible dog lamp and put this collar and a dog tag on it.I am having the last laugh!

The leather is wonderfully soft and it looks very comfy for my dog! However, when I put it on my small dog it had a very long end leftover to slip through the loop that holds it close to the collar. The first time I took her to the groomer for bathing that loop was missing when she came home. I would have preferred that the loop was attached to the collar also so it couldn’t be lost.

The leather is soft and strong. The dye does not bleed out. This is what you’d expect from a quality collar! Thanks for attention!

Regular collars were matting the hair on my long haired dog’s neck and this collar has helped with that problem. I choose this undyed collar because of reviews I read that indicated some dyes would discolor the hair. She’s in the water daily and there has been no sign of discoloration or adverse effects to the collar. This was slightly more expensive than some of the others listed on Revain, but it seems to be well worth it. Quality parts and after a month, I’m quite pleased with the purchase.

Altho the collar is currently too large, as my puppy grows it will be fine. I had a shipping problem as my pkg arrived damaged and empty…not sellers fault…but they immediately replaced the lost item. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

My Russian Bolanka dogs are really cute and very furry. I love their coats, but regular collars seem to matte the fur around their necks badly so I don’t use them! These collars have worked really well so far and I could find the two colors I use so everyone can identify them individually.

Time will tell how well this collar lasts. The tab with all the adjustment holes is softer than I expected and that is my only concern. As I said, time will tell.

Smidgen loves wearing her necklace. When we have it off, after a bath, we show it and ask if she wants her necklace, she comes running.

I bought a large for my standard doodle and it seems like I could've gone a size smaller. Otherwise a nice collar. The collar may not fit all dogs.

UPDATE: Ostensibly because of my former (two-star) review; I was contacted by the manufacturer of these collars, who informed me the collar design has been updated and asked if I would like to receive one in exchange for an updated review. I've received it and I agree that the design is significantly better now that it was. I had been using a kitten collar on my Maltipoo puppy but it was a break-away collar b/c it was meant for a cat. I didn't feel that the puppy was real secure with it on should she pull hard enough. This collar was a great find with the 6-7" size. Small enough that it fits her well and seems to be very comfortable on her. And I love the fact that it buckles so I feel it's much safer. I highly recommend if you're looking for a very small size.

I needed a collar for my schnauzer’s new Apple tag. He lost the new tag on the first day he wore it. Of course i locayed it immediately on the "Find my device” app. A half mile away in the park. I realized i needed non- dangling holder. One which would be held flat a not be shaken off. Stiil, i didnt want to add a thick, hot collar. This is perfect. Added value: it has a nice long extra bit that fits snugly in a leathe ring to secure the extra length.

I absolutely love this collar. It is well made and I wanted a red one and it is a true red. What I don't like is the box saying "Made in P.R.C." which means that it was made in the Peoples Republic of China. How many people actually know this? I read that this is a new marketing ploy manufacturers are using. That is why I gave the collar 4 stars.

I’ve bought these collars for all three of my dogs- a Pomeranian and 2 Keeshonden, all three are double-coated dogs. I wanted a collar that caused less matting in their coats , especially behind the ears and read a rolled leather collar would help. So far so good. These are great collars, I just wish they would accommodate a somewhat large leash connection. In other words use a larger O ring.

I liked the sturdiness and the ring for a leash made of metal instead of plastic. This issue I had was my dog was too fluffy. Which allowed the collar to be backed out of. I couldnt make it tight enough without harming the dog so its fur wouldnt allow it to slip out of the collar. I liked the construction and definitely durable but not for fluffy dogs who use their fur for evil escapes.
