Review on 📷 Zhiyun WEEBILL 2 Stabilizer: Standard Package Gimbal for DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras by Tara Gardner

I just upgraded from WeeBill S to Zhiyun Weebill 2, and this is a major upgrade. This thing has a folding screen and a dedicated mode switch. So you no longer have to remember secret "handshakes" to perform certain functions, such as B. press a button twice to do this and three times to do that!. Well, there's something else, but it's more logical and intuitive. This design is unique in that you can easily lower the rear handle to a low position and take pictures from a low angle. The drop down OSD is Time Lapse and Motion Lapse mode! It's very easy to set up motion and camera settings and when the camera is connected you're done and everything works! You do not have to register in the app for this. Try to get a wireless transmitter for this stabilizer. With this and with the app on the device of your choice, you can view the flipscreen in real time. It also has subject tracking, which comes in handy when you're filming yourself. It also sends video streams to any WiFi enabled device, phone or tablet. So wireless surveillance! If you're old (student) like me, that's just amazing. As if that wasn't enough, Zhiyun also makes a wireless receiver and monitor combo they call the Master Eye. Wireless video surveillance with full camera and gimbal control. This allows a second operator to control camera and gimbal movement with the Master Eye while the other operator controls the gimbal. All functions are at your fingertips on the flip-up screen, even better, the main modes have their own switch. Handle. The build quality is very good and improved over the Model S. Engine power and payload have also been increased. No problem flying a full size DSLR with a good size lens. If you've been thinking about buying a stabilizer, this is a great place to start. Lots of features and pretty easy to manage. There is a learning curve and it takes practice. There are many videos on YouTube on how to take good shots with the gimbal, and there are tutorial videos on setup and operation on the Zhiyun website. Check out the sets they have with different accessories. The basic gimbal comes with a small tripod for the ground but no rear handle unless you buy the next level kit then it will come with a rear handle and carrying case. But get at least a rear grip to get the full advantage. FYI, the integrated hard foam case that comes with the hanger is perfect for the Pelican 1450 hard case to safely transport your dinner. Zhiyun customer service was very quick to respond when I had a problem with my transmitter recently, so I think they are a good company to deal with.
