Cutouts are too small. Barely enough for regular bread with a few slices of cheese. When you start adding meat as shown in the video, it quickly becomes mush. On top of that, if you use butter/mayonnaise on the inside or outside (who likes dry fried cheese?), the pan portion mashes the bread so much you end up with a giant scoop of butter/mayonnaise on top. The sides are then too wide to fit in and slip out when you push it down. Curious how flammable that would get if a bunch of oil got on the burners. All in all, if you want a quick and easy 1-2 slice grilled cheese sandwich, fine, otherwise a complete waste.
