I love this bag. Take another bag from Canada, about the same height but almost twice the width, very soft leather with a coin or credit card slot. I like to have credit cards and driver's license, a phone and, if you're traveling, a passport, and that's it; However, this one has a black strap that gets my clothes dirty during the day. Both are good for travel, as these items and your passport should be handy under your sweater or jacket, not in your carry-on. Because it's so narrow and tight for a pass, it can be difficult to pull the pass out in a hurry, but not so bad as to hand it back. This bag is made of very durable leather. It was an odor that quickly dissipated and disappeared. So no questions for me.
