Review on 📏 Starrett 816A Length Tapered Diameter Gauge by James Chandran

I need to drill out some nail heads but couldn't find my center or drill through the punches. So I went to Home Depot but couldn't find anything useful. In fact, I went to 2 Home Depot and still came home empty-handed. They have flat tip nail kits like mine. Using this on a nailhead will only drive the nail deeper into the wood, which I don't want at all. The Home Depot website has a limited selection. So I'm looking for Revane instead. I'm glad I did. I was able to find this hit. I had this punch delivered to me the next day. Save yourself the walk, if you need a punch, just order it here. The knurling appears to be cut rather than knurled, which is understandable as the steel is quite hard. The entire stamp appears to be made from round steel bar. It's very easy to make but looks great. Just be careful as this kick can roll off the table or workbench. Other than that, it's just what I needed. I was able to easily mark the start of drilling on the nail heads. Always use the right tools for the job and it will make life so much easier. By the way. I love that this punch came with no plastic packaging. It was simply placed in a small envelope. Ideal.
