I didn't expect so much flour to fit in the big bags but I was able to get an entire 5 pound bag to fit my measuring cup and mallet knife. Little ones are of course smaller. I think I have 3 pounds of sugar in one. I didn't measure, just poured from my old container. Putting the top on is a bit tricky, but once you understand how it works, it will be easy! We put rice and flour in large ones, and sugar, powdered sugar, pasta and self-raising flour in small ones. . I couldn't be happier! The labels look cute and are easy to apply. I have another set in my shopping cart and will probably switch all my bins to these things!
