Think carefully before you buy this product

Friends, this is a quiet horror. The worst thing is the resistive screen, when I turned on the parent unit, I seemed to be transported 10 years ago, it seems then that I saw the latest resistive screens in budget smartphones. To press a button on the screen, you need to force it to push. Maybe it's even better for moms with nails. Image quality is a nightmare, and even on such a small screen. Further about the motion sensor - it is huge! It is almost 1 cm thick. When you stuff it between the plank and the mattress of the cradle, you get such a sickly hump. And the manufacturer wants me to put my child on it? Maybe for a large crib and a large mattress this is normal, but what to do with cradles and newborns, because it is at this age that it is most important to monitor breathing? Also, the manufacturer did not provide for any mounting of the camera on the side, the camera can only be placed or only screwed to the wall (seriously? make a hole in the wall? then hang a picture there?). And all this pleasure for some 25 thousand. Twenty-five thousand! It seems that manufacturers have finally lost their conscience, taking advantage of low competition in the market and pushing us ten-year-old technologies for a lot of money. As you understand, I do not share the laudatory reviews of other mothers. Apparently they are left by those who are not very versed in technology and have not seen the image of an ordinary Chinese camera for two thousand, which easily transmits an HD-quality image to the beautiful screen of your smartphone. Oh yes, about communication, in my house the signal does not finish from the nursery to the kitchen. Distance in a straight line does not exceed 20 meters, two walls. Why do I need information that the signal in an open field from the manufacturer finishes at 250m - it's not clear, will I use this super-complex in the field? All in all, I recommend thinking twice before continuing to feed this industry that is pushing outdated technology to us for big bucks.

Pros
  • Build quality.
Cons
  • Ten-year-old technology, screen, range, sensor size, price.
