I love this lamp for its sleek looks and exceptional ability to produce brighter, more natural light than any clip-on lamp I've owned; and I had quite a few! This lamp has it all: natural brightness; very modern design features; the ability to use batteries or plug into your own USB port to charge or power without batteries; and a horizontal lamp head shape that diffuses more light outward onto the page than any other book lamp I've used. Usually, these small lamps only have a tiny transparent bulb that illuminates only part of the page. This lamp illuminates the entire page without casting harsh shadows. First I bought two, one for my husband. But after using this lamp, I quickly bought two piano lamps. I started taking virtual piano lessons at the Settlement School of Music in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I bought a baby grand with a music stand above the keyboard. But at night, the lights in my room weren't bright enough to read sheet music, and none of our lights matched the keyboard. A Nuflex horizontal headlamp attached to each side of the music stand and tipped over my music book worked great! Not only are both sides of the sheet music book brightly lit, but the lamp clips keep the sheet music in place at the same time! A wonderful lamp in every way!
