Installation is fine, it just took a little time, it only took about an hour from start to finish. I had to tinker about the shifter adapter when fitting the regular boot, but it all worked out fine. Super short shots. If you have a factory aluminum grip that you hate then this is the answer. What did you think. Factory handle is too hot in summer and very cold in winter. The shifter is a little pricey (prices seem to be set by Hurst) but well worth it.
