Glue Gun heats the glue sticks (included with the gun) to a liquid state. The glue flows down the tip like water because it is very hot. I was trying to glue Christmas lights onto a brick arch and the glue dripped onto me as I tried to apply it to the surface of the brick above my head. I had to hold the glue gun over a paper plate because a lot of glue came out of the tip. I think it's dangerous and I wouldn't allow a kid to use this gun! The plug's pins are solid metal, unlike traditional plugs that have a hole in the pins. I think this product is for use in countries other than the US. Most of the information on the label was in Chinese. Also, the glue sticks had a strange pickle-like smell. The glue came out transparent and turned pink in color after drying. I wonder what could be in the glue?
