This is the first hoop I've bought to embroider and I'm so glad I did! I was really worried about the high price but I'm so glad I bought this product. I love it! I work on a lot of embroidery and the traditional hoop doesn't fit. What I particularly like about this frame is that it sits on my lap. Of course, the frame I use is wider than my knees, but I just put it on a pillow and it works great. I looked at the floor stand models and was concerned that I would be constantly bending forward and leaning forward, so I decided to use a kneeling frame instead. I highly recommend it. Good product. I was also very pleased when it arrived at 12 noon, having paid for shipping on the first day. The only downside was that the company didn't stock longer dowels that could be purchased separately or even with a frame. The longest dowel is 18" and I wish they would sell 20" or 22" dowels.
