This is the best caulking gun I have ever used. I have two of these and none of them have ever slipped. Additionally, they have the ability to either automatically release pressure when you release the lever, or they can be set to maintain pressure on whatever gasket or adhesive you're using. It's a simple tool-free process, just slide the plastic clip up or down. The gun has plenty of power for all but the worst layers of a dried out barrel, in fact I had the sealant pushing through the piston from too much pressure being applied to the clogged tube. Even if I didn't use it professionally, I would still own one of these for home use for a great price. Definitely worth the money if you need a caulking gun for any use! A tip: Spray the metal part of the caulking gun that goes into the caulking tube with WD-40 (or similar) and the caulking will come off easily when it comes through. gun once it dries.
