Not impressed with its design

Just bought this for my friend's 16 year old boy because I got him some other stuff to do schoolwork with. The description says it's square, but it's round. It has 6 sockets with 3 pins and 3 USB ports. If you plug in all the power adapters correctly, they would all be pointing in towards the center, so I don't know how really big adapters fit in. If you turn them inside out they may fall out as they are very close to the outside edge and too heavy to stay in place. I would design this the other way around with the adapters facing outwards, but then the 2 prongs of the main connector would be closer to the center and the adapters wouldn't trip by falling out. It has 3 USB ports but no USB-c ports like the other power strip / power strip I bought for its little sister. The circle design also makes it difficult to hide behind things since it takes up so much space. I won't know how the surge protector works until there is an electrical issue which rarely happens, but I will update this if there is an issue with this power strip/surge protector.
