This is the fourth GF grill I own. (These are plates that will wear down over time after years of fair use.) It's bigger and prettier than any of my previous grills. Pros: It's larger than my previous grills. Actually you can get 4 hamburgers. Or 2 large steaks - You can set the temperature - It folds up and takes up less counter/storage space Protect it better Cons - Yes, you can set a timer. But it does nothing but beep when the time is up. I was expecting the grill to turn off so I couldn't leave and turn my food into charcoal. - There is a power switch. But they tell you to turn it off after use, so what's the point? Stainless steel shows fingerprints and smudges. They are easy to clean but I do have to clean the outside after each use. At $100, it costs many times more than a traditional detachable plate grill. Overall this is still a good grill. I just expected more for the money spent. Especially since I spent money on a timer that turns off the grill when the food is ready. How hard would it be?
