Nice but a bit expensive

This is the fourth GF grill I own. (These are plates that will wear down over time after years of fair use.) It's bigger and prettier than any of my previous grills. Pros: It's larger than my previous grills. Actually you can get 4 hamburgers. Or 2 large steaks - You can set the temperature - It folds up and takes up less counter/storage space Protect it better Cons - Yes, you can set a timer. Doesn't heat to 425 degrees

I was glad to finally upgrade my old (original) George Foreman grill. It was advertised as non-smoking and had a large BBQ area. I read a review of an item not heating up properly, but I've read others that didn't. So, as with any article, roll the dice and hopefully end up writing a good review. Well I am now writing a bad review for the very reason the other person complained. The elements do not heat up to the specified temperature of 425 degrees. Very disappointed product!

Can someone explain to me why everyone who makes a folding grill assumes that everyone who buys this grill will need to drain the liquid they want to cook with from the bottom plate when cooking in some sort Drip tray or pan grills? When I decide to cook vegetables, I like to pour some water on the grill grate to steam. This grill doesn't even allow that.
