Review on πŸ“± Renewed Apple iPhone 8 Plus Gold 64GB for AT&T/T-Mobile by Agata Pkala (Kira) ᠌

I can't say that I was completely satisfied with the product.

Made a choice in favor of 8 Plus solely because of the large IPS, 60 FPS in 4K. The device was purchased to record non-advertising reviews of the manufacturer's product. Naturally as a backup camera. After the purchase, after 2 days, I discovered such a moment, when recording a video (in any resolution), there is a loud click and a fading hiss in the first 5-10 seconds of recording. As well as a characteristic, but already quieter mechanical sound, like from some kind of motor. Naturally, having googled the problem, I tried to provide the smartphone with the best conditions: I removed the film, did not use the case, talked to it in the first seconds (someone wrote on the net that noises, clicks and other sounds may be due to the fact that when recording in full silence, the noise reduction is trying to find the sound and something conflicts there) well, I thought, why not, it's "Apple Magic" and I tried this method. And also: resetting and reinstalling IOS 12, recording sound on a voice recorder, which was already recorded without a click, but also with a characteristic mechanical sound and attenuation in different time periods. He brought it to the store with two claims, a doubt about the serial number, about which even (as it turned out the store manager) could not explain anything to me, just 0 knowledge. The answer was "It's not refurbished because we don't have refurbished 8s" Call Apple, they'll explain everything to you that the phone is new, not refurbished. Like I bought from Apple and not from them. In the presence of the seller, made a record, the seller said in the affirmative that yes, this is not normal. They asked me to reset the settings in order to send it to Apple for diagnostics. A day later, the shop assistant calls and says, come, the phone is in order. I asked how did you find out? He says the film should have been removed. The person did not turn on the smartphone, did not listen to the defect in the recording, answered in the affirmative that the device was in order. I got it from a store that recently distinguished itself in Belarus with its especially advanced and dedicated staff. I want to ask Apple, do you really believe in your magic?

Pros
  • For me, this is a large IPS display that I can sit behind for a long time. The iPhone probably really has the best IPS display you can buy on the market. White is really white, almost does not darken when changing the viewing angle. Compared to AMOLED, it does not go into parasitic shades of blue, green or magenta. Doesn't irritate the eyes. The color is accurate and moderately saturated. In general, I am surprised by these gifted sellers who poke me with an amole and say, look, what a juicy picture! And the fact that the grass is fluorescent green does not bother them somehow :) Liked the True Tone technology 4K numbers /60 FPS
Cons
  • Poor quality sound throughout. With headphones out of the box, it plays so-so, recording sound when recording video and audio is generally nothing (and in my case also with marriage). For example, the Galaxy a7 / 2022 writes such a clear, loud and accurate sound on the video that you can’t believe your ears that it writes bodies for 17 thousand. And he does not need any conditions for recording, he will still record the chorus sound, even if he is wrapped with tape. (but that's the only merit) View in 4K / 60 FPS, well, nothing at all. Well, there is and is, it may be an argument when selling on the secondary market. For people who have never used Apple technology, it will be very difficult to use. That is, I mean if you are a PC, Windows user and want to connect the bodies to your computer. Before buying, it makes sense to carefully read about how mac OS and iOS interact. Slippery, use with one hand is not possible, there is a high probability that it will simply slip out of your hands.
